Disclaimers
Last updated: October 22, 2026. These disclaimers from FiscalIQ LLC are part of the Terms of Service. They explain what FiscalIQ is, what it is not, and where responsibility sits.
FiscalIQ Is Software, Not a Professional Advisor
FiscalIQ is software. It is not a CPA firm, accounting firm, tax preparer, law firm, financial planner, or investment adviser, and using it does not create any professional, advisory, or fiduciary relationship. Nothing the service produces, including reports, statements, categorizations, alerts, checklists, attestations, and AI suggestions, is accounting, tax, legal, audit, or investment advice. Engage a qualified professional for professional judgments.
Review Before You Rely
Every output is an aid, not a final answer. Review it before you rely on it, file it, or share it. That includes suggested categories, matches from your earlier choices, reconciliations, and reports. Responsibility for the accuracy of your books, your filings, and your decisions stays with you and the professionals you engage.
AI and Automation Have Limits
AI features are optional and off by default; your firm decides whether to use them. When they are on, they read documents, suggest categories, and flag possible issues. AI output is probabilistic: it can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong, and it can look confident when it is wrong. Automated rules and suggestions can be wrong as well. A person must review and approve before anything is relied on.
Tax, Legal, and Accounting Responsibility
Tax returns, legal positions, and accounting conclusions are the responsibility of you and your professional. FiscalIQ does not prepare or file returns for you, does not interpret the law for your situation, and does not replace the judgment of a CPA, lawyer, or tax advisor that you choose to engage.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
We do not guarantee any result from using the service, including audit readiness, tax savings, error or fraud detection, regulatory compliance, or the completeness of any close, reconciliation, or report. A clean status (for example “ready to close” or “no anomalies found”) means the checks we run passed, not that no issue exists. A Verified Financials record shows that figures have not changed since they were signed; it does not show they are correct.
Your Data In, Your Results Out
The service works from the data you, your clients, and your integrations provide. Missing statements, unposted activity, or incorrect setup produce incorrect output. You are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the inputs.
Third-Party Services
Integrations such as banking data, payments, e-signature, email, and AI model providers are run by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, or data practices.
Warranties and Liability
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in Sections 18 to 20 of the Terms of Service. If your jurisdiction limits those terms, they apply to the fullest extent permitted there.
